We'll start by exploring downtown Yangon and taking in the colonial architecture of this historic capital. Your guide will share the intriguing history behind each construction.
Next, we'll make our way to the breathtaking Shwedagon Pagoda, a golden structure perched atop Singuttara Hill.
This pagoda is believed to have kept the Buddha's hair relics from 2500 years ago and is now considered one of the most stunning religious architecture in the world.
As you take in the shimmering scenery and learn more about this spiritual site, you'll feel a deep sense of the uniqueness of Myanmar travel.
From there, we'll return to your hotel in Yangon where you can take a moment to rest and reflect on the day's journey.
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we'll head to Yangon airport for a short flight to Nyaung U (Bagan), where you'll be greeted and escorted by our local guide.
We'll begin our sightseeing with a visit to the lively Nyaung U Market within Old Bagan, where you'll get to experience the colorful local culture and witness daily life in action.
From there, we'll head to the gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda to learn about Burmese Buddhist customs. Afterward, we'll visit the stunning Ananda Temple, admiring the beautiful view of the temples along the way.
This temple's unique cruciform shape, with terraced landings leading to a pagoda shrouded by a hit (umbrella or top ornament), is typical of many temples in Myanmar.
Then, we'll explore the fascinating Manuha Temple, one of the earliest structures in Bagan, built in 1067 by captive Mon King Manuha. Inside, you'll see three images of seated Buddhas and an image of Buddha entering Nirvana.
Finally, we'll end our day by visiting the awe-inspiring Shwesandaw Pagoda, the second-tallest structure in Bagan.
Take in the incredible sunset views surrounded by five terraces capped with a cylindrical stupa adorned with a sparkling umbrella.
We'll then return to your hotel to finish the 2nd day of this Myanmar tour package.

We'll start the third day of this extended tour from Yangon by taking a morning flight to Inle Lake, where our guide and driver will meet you. From there, we'll take an hour-long drive from Heho to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to this stunning lake.
Next, we'll board a motorboat to discover the mesmerizing views of Inle Lake. The calm waters, adorned with floating plants and fishing canoes, offer a picturesque backdrop against the dramatic mountain scenery.
Don’t forget to capture this magical moment of the best Maymar classic tour! We'll observe the local leg-rowing fishermen and their floating gardens, constructed from water hyacinth, bamboo, and dirt, moored to the bottom of the lake.
Our exploration will then take us to Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, home to ancient Shan Buddha Figures, and then to the beautiful Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, where we'll witness five religious images of Buddha covered in gold leaf.
